If you’re thinking of trying Slimming World but are concerned it will double your family’s food bill, then think again.

Some people say menu planning is hard on Slimming World, so I’ve put together this easy to follow budget Slimming World Food Diary  for you.

Cooking for the family can be expensive and it can also be hard to know how to use up all the food you have in your cupboards, so you’re not spending more.

Using a food diary or a food planner diary, can really help keep your food bill in check but also stops you having to think about food. All. The. Time.

Meal planning on Slimming World doesn’t have to be hard. Using a Slimming World extra easy plan or just a simple food planner diary can also work as a shopping list or a place that you can keep all your favorite recipes for when you do meal plan.

The beauty of Slimming World is that you get to eat family friendly healthy food but are encouraged to cook it differently. So instead of deep frying your fish, cover it in breadcrumbs and bake in the oven. Instead of using oil to cook your chips, use a low calorie cooking spray or have a jacket potato.

By making a few very small changes to your eating and how you think, could help your family eat better but also cut down on your family spend as well.

I use the Slimming World Food Optimising book to keep my meals interesting.

You can print out my FREE Slimming world extra easy plan pdf, so you can easily meal plan for the week and use the plain copy to keep going, and take inspiration from the mega list below.

This Slimming World extra easy food diary all contains budget items, all brought at Aldi, but this can be done at any supermarket or discounter. To help, download my FREE Aldi food planner diary, that lists over 300 low-syn foods.

You should be able to do this shop for around £40, and still have leftover items in the freezer, like the frozen berries or the mixed vegetables, meaning that your bill will be less the following week.

(Disclaimer: My kids are at pre-school or school all week, so don’t eat lunch with me. That makes no difference to how much I buy, as my husband and I still need lunch, and any leftover cupboard essentials get used the following week.)

If this food diary doesn’t float your boat, then have a look at my other FREE family friendly Slimming World 7-day meal plans.

If you want to make your own meal plan, but are unsure how, then my meal planning guide for beginners will help.
