Including online surveys that pay cash

If you’re looking for ways to make money from home around the kids or a full-time job then this post is for you. We go through all the UK paid online survey sites that we use and give you deep dive into what they are like and how much you could be paid before you even start.

Remember that if you make over the HMRC threshold you must declare your income. Please check the HMRC website for more details as the threshold can change.

Making money from home

If you are looking to make money from home around the kids then survey sites aren’t for you. Survey sites are more about helping you to increase your income.

You will never get rich by just completing surveys. They just don’t pay enough out, but what you can do is make enough money for extra treats for the whole family.

Before you start to sign up for any of the below survey sites is best to sign up for a free email account. This way, it’s easier for you to see what’s come in and helps to filter out any spam. We suggest Gmail as it’s completely free to use.

What are the best survey sites in UK?

If you are looking for paid online surveys that you can do from home or while you are out and about then we have you covered.

Some of these do have a low payout threshold or offer you Amazon gift cards.

Remember to cash out as soon as you reach the threshold as your money is not protected like it would be in a bank. It isn’t yours in till it’s sat in your bank account.

All of these survey sites we have used or currently still do use ourselves. They are all easy to use and work great if you are looking to earn a little extra money on the side.

They all want your opinion and could ask you questions about anything from what you ate for dinner last night to the last time you shopped online or even who you last voted for.

Trying paid surveys really are a great way to boost your savings pot. Most have a very low minimum payout or reward threshold and the average survey time is less than 5 minutes.

Oh My Dosh

OhMyDosh is a survey site and cashback site combined. You can make money by answering their surveys which then goes into your account as credit. When you have reached the limit you can cash out!

Surveys can range from anything from watching videos to answering questions about what you last brought online.

We use OhMyDosh a lot as it’s really easy to use while out and about.

The per survey threshold is low but the payout is £10 and that shouldn’t take too long to get too. Payout can be made through PayPal.

Join OhMyDosh* here and get a free £1 added to your account.

Read more about what we think of OhMyDosh and how it works here.

Swagbucks

We love Swagbucks! There are loads of tasks available and you can earn money from answering questions or watching videos. The surveys are short so you can do them on the move pretty easy. Payout is via PayPal or Amazon gift card.

These surveys are so easy to do and they tell you how long they will take too. Swagbucks was rated the no.1 paid survey site by Wallet Savvy in their recent review.

YouGov

YouGov is a great place to answer questions on today’s problems. The surveys normally involve your view on large companies, the government or your local council. You only need 50 points to cash out which is £50.

They are really interesting surveys to complete and they do email you every time they have one to complete.

Prolific Academic

Prolific Academic is an easy to use survey site that we’ve never had screen us out, which happens more than you’d think. You can reach the payment limit quite quickly while finding loads of different surveys that interest you.

The payment threshold is just £5 so you get paid really quickly too.

InstaGC

InstaGC is a great place to earn gift vouchers. You can complete surveys, watch videos and search the web to earn points. You can withdraw from as little as £1 and they pay out in a load of different gift vouchers from B&Q to Starbucks.

Make sure you spend the gift cards right away though as like storing up the points, they can’t be given back if something happens to the company.

OnePoll

Onepoll offers short and sweet surveys that can be done on your phone while you are on the move. They offer great payment bonuses of up to £2.50 which can really help you reach your payout target. You can even earn more by hooking up your social media accounts as well. They offer a really great referral plan too so make sure you ask your friends to join up.

Valued Opinions

Valued Opinions pays well. You could be answering questions on the latest films or about the latest fashion trends. You get paid with gift vouchers that you can redeem and spend.

LifePoints

LifePoints is a great starting survey site as they offer so many ways you can cash out which includes amazon vouchers, through PayPal and other high street stores.

They email you through the surveys they think you qualify for and add you to a sweepstake that earns you more points. You can do all the surveys on your phone via their very own app.

Pinecone

We found Pinecone to be one of the best-paying survey websites online. They payout about £2 – £3 a survey and can give you points towards gift cards or subscriptions.

They do any accept certain people, depending on the types of surveys they are looking for so do keep trying to apply in till they accept you.

Gift Hunter Club

Gift Hunter Club helps you to earn points toward their prizes. These could include downloading apps to try them out and giving your feedback or watching videos and then answering questions. Rewards include PayPal or Amazon gift cards.

Branded Surveys

Branded Surveys have a very low payout so if you want to try a survey site out to check that they are for you then this is the one. Surveys could be about anything but they are quick. They don’t pay great but because the threshold is so low they are great for beginners to get a fell of it.

Related Posts:

Viewsbank

These are quick and easy surveys that you can fill out on a semi-regular basis. They do offer you the chance to fill out higher-paying surveys but these are normally specific, so for example, phoning up a company and going through a quote then giving feedback. The threshold is low and but is only paid out monthly.

What the * means

If a link has an * by it, then this means it is an affiliate link and helps S4SM stay free for all. If you use the link, it may mean that we receive a very small payment. It will not cost you anymore that it would normally.

You shouldn’t notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. The items we write about are NEVER dictated by these links. We aim to look at all products on the market. If it isn’t possible to get an affiliate link, then the link, or product is still included in the same way, just with a non-paying link.
