OhMyDosh is a great way to make extra money at home. It’s completely free to use. In this OhMyDosh review we talk you through how OhMyDosh works and how you can make money by using the website.
How does OhMyDosh work?
Just like other cashback sites you can earn money by purchasing the products you would normally buy through OhMyDosh.
Unlike other cashback sites though, OhMyDosh* is completely free to use with no subscription needed for the better deals.
Once you see a deal you like, click on it and check you are happy with the terms and conditions as this could affect the payout.
Then accept the offer and you’re done. You will see the amount in pending. It normally takes around 30 days to clear as they have to contact the advertiser to check that everything went through.
Once you’ve reached the £10 payout you can “dosh out” as they call it and receive the money either straight into your bank account or via PayPal.
You can also earn extra by referring your friends and family to OhMyDosh. More on that near the bottom of the post. You receive £5 for every person you introduce to OhMyDosh* and as long as they complete the sign up you get paid and they get a £1 as a thank you for joining.

Is OhMyDosh safe?
Yes, OhMyDosh is safe and they have a 4.7/5 rating on Trustpilot.
You aren’t purchasing from OhMyDosh just through them. A lot the offers are really simple things you need to do like download an app or try Amazon Prime for free for 30-days. You earn money from doing them and OhMyDosh pays you.
Just remember to set a reminder on your phone to cancel any free trials that you no longer want so they don’t cost you any money.
How to earn money with OhMyDosh
If you are brand new to OhMyDosh then create an account. Use our link here to have £1 added to your account straight away*.
Once you have signed in, you will get a deals screen like the one below. These are quick paying offers that are easy to complete. It’s really easy to make money.
They have loads of categories from food to trials to entertainment so make sure you log in anytime you’re about to shop online and see how much money you could get back.
What we like the most is that there are ways you can earn without spending money. You can enter the competition section and earn.
They also have a section for surveys and a “no spend” option. So don’t feel like you have to spend your hard-earned cash.

I found these great when I first started as it quickly laid out the offers right in front me.
Now you have £1 already you can start to earn more money. Start with the easy earners like downloading the apps, getting the free subscriptions (remember to set a calendar reminder to cancel them) and entering the competitions.
Then move on to the surveys and work your way through them.
As soon as you have met the threshold then cash out. It’s better to have the money on your pocket.
To “dosh out” click on your total on the homepage, on the right hand corner. This brings up the screen above. You have four options.
To set up your payment method click on “Balance” then below for “set up payment method.”
This screen also shows you how much you’ve earned overall including any referrals you have.
Make sure your family know about OhMyDosh so if they need anything online you can get cash back or get them to sign up using your referral code. More on that below. If you use our referrals code here then you will also have £1 added to your account when you complete your sign up. *
Another simple way to earn with OhMyDosh is to remember to confirm your email preferences in your account. To find this go to “Menu” then “My Account” and fill in all the details. It’s an easy 50p! That means without doing any of the above you’ve already made £1.50!
Another great way to earn money is through OhMyDosh Daily Deals. *
This can be found at the top left hand corner on the homepage.
The ‘Daily Dosh’ works by each user being randomly selected to win £10 which is then credited into their account if claimed.
It’s really easy to claim if you are chosen as a winner. You just click the “Claim” button and the money is yours.
The issue is that you only know you’ve won by logging in every day as you only have 24 hours to claim before you miss it.
There’s a full list of winners who have claimed and unclaimed clearly on the site.
To make sure you don’t miss out, make a bookmark so you can quickly return every day to check if you’ve won.

These are the most popular offers on the site. Everything is included here and some are fast payouts so it’s worth looking out for them.
Lightening Payouts
These offers pay out quickly, normally within three working days.
Compared to the other bigger cashback sites, this is fantastic as you don’t need to wait around for the funds to clear.
No Spend
Exactly like it says, the no spend section offers you the chance to earn money without spending a penny. There’s loads of options from taking surveys to checking your credit score.
Quidco do offer this section but it’s slightly harder to find.
New Offers
This is the place for all the new deals. When you become a regular user this is the best place to come to find the newest offers.
Surveys
This is the home of the surveys. Doing them all can really help you on your way to earning money.
Gambling
This is quite a big section and has loads of options. Some you do need to add your own deposit to qualify. If you know your way around these offers then they are worth it. I wouldn’t recommend them though if you are new to gambling or don’t have a lot of time on your hands to read through the terms and conditions.
Trials
These are all about taking up subscriptions. Loads of different options are available from Amazon Music to DW Fitness Gym membership to a Simply Cook box.
Remember to set a reminder to cancel these though.
Entertainment
This is another huge section with a great amount of offers.

This section features everything you need for everyone in your house. This includes pet insurance offers, travel and life insurance.
Finance
Click finance for everything money related. You can get cashback for downloading apps, opening ISAs and investing.

This is the place to come if you like entering competitions. This is another great way to get your money up to the £10 threshold. They are really easy to do and mostly involve you sharing or liking posts or even just giving your opinion on a topic.

OhMyDosh Verdict
If you are looking for an easy to use cashback site then OhMyDosh is for you. It’s laid out really well and is a simple to site to use.
You do need to be logged in each time to take advantage of all the cash back shopping offers but that’s the same as every cash back site.
OhMyDosh is free to use without a subscription which is perfect if you’ve never used one before and want to start.
Always compare them against each though to make sure that you are getting the most cash back you can on the item you want.
Another plus is their generous referral scheme compared to the other cash back sites.
