Including how to make money with surveys
Survey sites are a great way to make money online. They can help you to make extra money to pay off any bills you have or help you to increase your savings.
You will never get rich by just completing surveys. They just don’t pay enough out, but what you can do is make enough money for extra treats for the whole family.
Using Onepoll is really easy. Once you are a member you can pick and choose which surveys you take. Most will earn you 10-15 points towards your 2500 points for checkout.
The surveys are really easy to do. You can complete them on the app or on a laptop and they are all multiple choice.
If you’ve never joined a survey site before then our top tips are:
New email address – Before you start to sign up for any survey sites is best to sign up for a free email account. This way, it’s easier for you to see what’s come in and helps to filter out any spam. We suggest Gmail as it’s completely free to use.
Cash-out – Cash out straight away as soon as you make money. Unlike a bank, your money isn’t protected if the site disappears.
Don’t be fooled – You will never get rich by just completing surveys. They just don’t pay enough out, but what you can do is make enough money for extra treats for the whole family.

Onepoll review
Onepoll is a great way to make a bit of extra money. The great thing about Onepoll is that you can answer all their questions at home, with the kids around and you don’t need any special qualifications. You can complete their surveys on the app or on their website.
What is Onepoll?
Onepoll is a market research website that asks you for your views on the most subjects of our time. They might want to know about the TV shows you watch, the food you buy or what you think about culture. Nothing is off-limits but it’s normally pretty easy questions about your opinion.
How to join Onepoll
It is really easy to join Onepoll. They are a free site to join and do not take fees. All they want is your opinion on certain subjects.
Start by joining here and adding in your information. You can set up a new email address if you prefer. The information is very simple. All they want to know is your age and gender. Then you are in and ready to get started.
You will normally only be offered two or three surveys at the start worth 10-15 points each but teh more you do the more you are offered.
How much do Onepoll surveys pay?
The idea is to try and get to 2500 points as quick as you can so you can cash out. Most of the surveys offer between 10-20 points but you do get the odd one or two that are worth 25 points.
These are not well paid surveys but Onepoll do offer a lot of surveys to complete and most are pretty quick.
Try to do 5 surveys a week if you can to build your points up quickly and get the opportunity for the bigger paid surveys.
Some times, a few of the surveys stop you quickly if you aren’t what they are looking for. So for example, they want someone with a mortgage or someone who owns a car. They will quickly time you out so you can move on a new one.
Is Onepoll legit?
Yes, Onepoll is completely legit. They pay you straight into your bank or PayPal but they can take up to 30-days for payment. The payout when you reach £25 which for us took 40-days but the money did come.
How much is cashout?
Start by signing up to Onepoll here. Use our link here to start for free.
Once you have joined Onepoll, start by filling in your profile as much as you can. This helps them to offer you the surveys that most interest you.
All your surveys will be on your homepage dashboard so you can see them quickly and easily.
Next, start one of the surveys to start building up your points. You can cash out your money when you reach 2500 points which is £25. You can choose between PayPal or bank transfer.
Most surveys only offer you between 10-15 points but if you can do at least 5 a week then it does build up.

How long does cashout take?
Onepoll say that cashout takes 30 working days for PayPal and 28 days for bank transfer.
We have been with Onepoll for years, normally cashing out around every two months or so, and they can be late. Sometimes up to 40 days, but they do pay! So please don’t worry.
Download the Onepoll app
Onepoll have an app that you can use while you are on the move. This is a great way to still be doing surveys while you are on the school run or waiting for the kids in the car.
We tend to do our surveys while we are waiting to pick the kids up as this is dead time that we can’t really do anything else.
Top tips for making Onepoll work for you
Our top tips to getting to the £25 payment threshold as quickly as possible are:
Log in every day – This means that you get to see the surveys that you can apply for quickly before they expire. Logging in everyday means you have more chance of reaching your 2500 checkout.
Join their mailing list – They send you details of surveys straight away.
Clear your surveys – We are normally offered about 10 surveys a day. Clear them to get to the £25 payout quicker.
Be truthful – You get more surveys by telling the truth about what you like and don’t like.
Survey dry up – Some people have reported that surveys seem to try up when you get near to checking out. We have had this a few times but just keep logging in every day and they will soon pop up again.
Expired accounts – Make sure you log into your account at least once a month as Onepoll are known for shutting unused accounts down.
Why have Onepoll closed my account?
Onepoll would normally close your account if you have not be active in 6 months or if you have not been answering the questions truthfully.
You will normally get an email first to warn you that your account may be closed if you do not log in. If you want to keep your account then please do log back in and complete a survey.
If Onepoll think that you haven’t been truthful then they may ask you to fill in a test survey. This is to find out what your responses may be and match them to past surveys. Please answer truthfully so you can keep your account.
The reason that Onepoll do is, is because their customers pay for useful data that is truthful and that helps them to release new products to the market. They do not want to be buying false information and Onepoll does not want people on the panel who are not truthful as this could hurt which businesses work with them going forward.
Onepoll is not working
If Onepoll is showing you a 404, like the website is not working then we would suggest cleaning your cookies. You can this by easily if you use Chrome by going to your Chrome browser, then clicking the top right and More. Then you can select your time range or all time. Then click clear data. This will also clear your cache as well. Then go back on to Onepoll and it will normally work.
You could also try a different browser instead of Chrome and see if the website works.
It could also be that Onepoll have not offered you any more surveys. Please do keep checking back as this can change very quickly.

What the * means
If a link has an * by it, then this means it is an affiliate link and helps S4SM stay free for all. If you use the link, it may mean that we receive a very small payment. It will not cost you anymore that it would normally.
You shouldn’t notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. The items we write about are NEVER dictated by these links. We aim to look at all products on the market. If it isn’t possible to get an affiliate link, then the link, or product is still included in the same way, just with a non-paying link.
