Can I put raw pork in a slow cooker?
Yes, you can. Make sure that you cook the pork for 6-8 hours and check the meat before you eat it. The great thing about a slow cooker is that you can chuck everything in and leave it to cook.
How long does pork take in the slow cooker?
Pork can take 6-8 hours on a low heat to cook in the slow cooker. To keep the pork tender, make sure there is enough sauce in the slow cooker.
Do I need to add liquid to slow cooker pork?
Yes, you do but this can be in the form of a sauce. It does not have to be water. A slow cooker itself produces water as there is nowhere for the steam to go. If you sauce is watered down then you may need to take the lid off of your slow cooker for the last hour of cooking.
