Do you feel as though now is the time for you to move house? When it comes to property, it can be hard to know when the right time truly is. You may feel as though you want a bigger bedroom or a more spacious garden but at the end of the day, you may also feel like you love the house you have now and that you cannot bear the thought of leaving it. If this sounds like you, then there are things that you can do to try and find the answer you’re looking for.

Your Home is Shrinking

You may be dealing with one of two extremes here. You may either feel as though you have every cupboard bursting at the seams or that you feel as though you have way more children than you had last week. Either way, now could be the time for you to make a change. If you can focus on things like this, then it’ll help you to know if now is really the time for you to move or not.

You Spend all the Time on Moving Sites

There is no harm in you looking at all, but if you end up doing it for an hour or two each time then this shows that you are longing for a change. It may be that you get so engrossed in looking for properties that you are simply not able to stop. You may also be interested in getting your property valuated as well, and if this is the case it shows that you are very serious about your move and that you need to consider taking that next step.

My House Is…

Do you find yourself saying that your house is too small? Maybe you can’t use it to entertain, or that your friends live too far away. Either way, if you feel like your time with the house is over, then there is no going back. You need to try and make a change and you need to accept that now is the time to move. If possible, you may want to try and seek out mortgage brokers as this is the best way for you to ensure that you are able to get the most money out of your property sale. You may also want to look at the market to see if it is possible for you to find out how much you could get from the sale of your home.

You’re Not Cleaning or Tidying

If you suddenly feel as though all of the DIY projects you have to do are suddenly not as important as they were or if you have no interest in maintaining your home, then this shows that you have fallen out of love with your property. You may feel as though replacing the blown bulb in the spare room is suddenly not as much of a big deal because you can save it for the next owner too. if this is the case with you, then now is certainly the time for you to be thinking about making a positive change.
